Procedure and Fee

This is a non-invasive ultrasound examination. Ultrasound gel will be applied to the skin during the procedure. The examination is generally not painful.

Preparation

Ultrasound Report Review Policy

I understand that all ultrasound reports must be reviewed with Dr. Mariana Bubucea during a scheduled in-person office visit. Ultrasound results will not be reviewed or interpreted by telephone.

If I choose to obtain or review the written ultrasound report before my scheduled physician appointment, I understand that receiving the report does not constitute medical interpretation, diagnosis, treatment advice, or a substitute for the scheduled physician consultation. I remain responsible for keeping the scheduled follow-up appointment and for seeking urgent or emergency medical care if I develop concerning symptoms.
